About Kristin Setliff

Kristin is a lifelong Carmel Valley resident with over 20 years of experience bringing thoughtful, inspiring spaces to life in California and beyond. She earned her degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating environments that feel both welcoming and meaningful.

After graduation, Kristin spent approximately 10 years working for a building design firm in Carmel Valley, refining her skills on a wide range of residential projects.

Driven by a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional, Kristin decided to take a new approach to her field of expertise by working with the Design Review Board of the Santa Lucia Preserve. In this role, she worked closely with landowners and their consultants, managing the design, permitting, and construction of more than 50 residences over five years.

Building on more than a decade of experience, Kristin started her own company, where she contributed to a diverse portfolio of projects in multiple states. Her work has included administrative facilities for the United States Navy, accessible residential remodels for the Department of Veteran Affairs, fire and flood disaster rebuilds and renovations, as well as projects ranging from new decks to custom homes. Kristin also offers 3D modeling services to help clients visualize their designs and bring their ideas to life with clarity and confidence.

Kristin is dedicated to designing spaces that reflect each client’s unique vision, needs, and sense of place. She takes pride in helping people create homes and buildings that are not only functional, but truly feel like their own.
